Smith Enterprise M14 Gas Piston | New Product

Designed to meet the demands of 21st century warfare, the Smith Enterprise M14 Gas Piston was developed for war fighters with the M14, EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle), and EMR (Enhanced Marksman Rifle). Machined from 440c cutlery grade stainless steel and heat treated and hardened to 58 HRc Rockwell, this gas piston is corrosion resistant and performs well under excessive wear. In addition, the sharp corners on the gas piston minimize gas blow-by. The M14 gas piston is designed for use with the M80HT gas cylinder, and as a testament to its reliability and durability, it doesn’t need to be constantly maintained while in the field. The final finishing on this product includes a surface hard chrome plating to .0005″ depth, and heat treatment to prevent chrome cracking and hydrogen embrittlement.

The M14 Gas Piston from Smith Enterprise is combat proven and has been used by a number of different military units, including the 2nd Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, 10th Mountain Division, 10th Special Forces Group, US Navy, US Air Force Pararescue, and many more. Simply put, it is a solid, go-to gas piston for military and tactical users. Manufacturer suggested retail price for this new product is $85.
