Earlier this year, Smith & Wesson introduced its new M&P M2.0 pistol. Now the company is targeting the concealed carry crowd with the launch of the M&P M2.0 Compact.

Available in 9mm and .40 S&W with or without an ambidextrous thumb safety, the M&P M2.0 Compact features a four-inch barrel; 15+1 magazine capacity in 9mm and 13+1 capacity in .40 S&W; four interchangeable palmswell inserts; aggressive grip texture; 18-degree grip angle; and a crisp trigger with a lighter pull and a tactile and audible reset.
The pistol also features a an extended stainless steel chassis; high grip to barrel bore axis ratio for reduced muzzle rise and faster aim recovery; white dot front and rear sights; unloaded weight of 24 ounces (9mm) and 25.3 ounces (.40 S&W); overall length of 7.3 inches; and an Armornite corrosion resistant finish.
