Smith & Wesson has expanded its M&P10 lineup with the new M&P10 Sport rifle.

Chambered in .308 Win/7.62×51 NATO, the M&P10 Sport features a medium-contour 16-inch barrel with 5R rifling and a .30 caliber A2-style flash suppressor. It’s also equipped with ambidextrous controls in an optics-ready configuration, and it has a mid-length gas operating system for lower felt recoil.
Other features to note are the 6-position telescopic stock; mid-length handguard; chromed firing pin; gas block with Picatinny top rail; sling swivel; and a corrosion resistant Armornite finish on the interior and exterior of the barrel.

The M&P10 Sport ships out with a 20-round Magpul PMAG and is available at a MSRP of $1,049.
