Bravo Company Manufacturing’s 5.56mm rifle is packing a CQB jab and sub-MOA punch and coming out swinging! LEOs in need of a weapon for serious work will be well served by the RECCE 16 Precision Mk2, which author David Bahde advises can go double-duty “as a close-quarters weapon and an accurate long-range rifle.” The RECCE 16 features a free-floating Centurion C4 handguard with plenty of real estate for mounting mission-critical accessories. And BCM didn’t cut any corners: The all-important bolt carrier group has been chrome-lined, and both it and the hand-lapped, SS410 stainless steel barrel have been high-pressure tested and magnetic-particle inspected. As for the rifle’s accuracy, Bahde explains, “It performed very well, printing groups much smaller than is called for by military specifications…In all the testing, there was never a malfunction.”
