Chambered in .357 Magnum but capable of accommodating .38 Special, the SP101 Match Champion takes the traditional SP101 to the next level with its 4.2-inch full-lug barrel for quick transitions between targets and an 11-degree target crown; chamfered cylinder and a custom Altamont hardwood grip with stippled and checkered sides. It also features polished internals and centering shims on the trigger and hammer, resulting in a smooth double-action trigger pull, Ruger says.
The SP101 Match Champion also boasts a fully adjustable rear sight along with a fiber optic front sight, giving the shooter a clear sight picture for plates and targets. Meanwhile, the polished trigger guard allows for smooth and consistent shooting.
Weighing in at 30 ounces and measuring 9.12 inches in overall length, the Ruger SP101 Match Champion is available at a suggested retail price of $859.
