Springfield Armory just announced the release of the latest addition to its wildly popular Hellcat line of pistols. Both the Hellcat and Hellcat OSP platforms gained a 10-round version for restricted locales.

The Hellcat quickly gained a wide appeal after its release last year. The 3-inch barreled micro compact pistol excels for concealed carry. It handles +P handgun ammo, featuring a hammer-forged steel barrel and billet-machined slide. A Melonite coating protects the metals.
Lightweight and strong, an Adaptive Grip Texture delivers solid purchase. A reversible mag release and non-proprietary accessory rail for lights or lasers add the versatile system.
The OSP variant features a removable seamless cover plate. It allows direct mounting of a micro red dot to the slide for the lowest possible profile. The Hellcat’s U-Dot sight system also helps in that regard. It features a high-visibility tritium and luminescent front sight paired with a tactical U-notch rear. It red dot and irons co-witness, meaning you’re never out of the fight.
“The Hellcat has proven to be extremely popular since its launch due to its quality, capabilities and performance,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “Now, with these new 10-round versions of the pistol in both standard and OSP versions, even more shooters have the chance to own the best concealed carry pistol on the market.”
Now the 10-round Hellcat, standard or OSP, comes street-legal for more restrictive places folks might need to carry. The 10-round Hellcat retails for $569, while the 10-round OSP retails for $599. For even more info, please visit springfield-armory.com.
