Springfield Armory Mobile App Available for iPhone and Android

Promising an optimized resource and support system, Springfield Armory released its new mobile app for iPhone and Android operating systems. The app promises to be a complete resource for all things related to Springfield firearms and ties into the new dashboard. This includes warranty info, owner’s manuals, your personal collection, and more.

The New Springfield Armory Mobile App

Building the foundation for the full experience is Springfield’s new customer dashboard. The dashboard gives customers convenient access to a full complement of content for their firearm. This includes warranty activation, searchable manuals, and instructional videos. With the inclusion of the mobile app, all actions in the dashboard are accessible via the app or desktop computer.

Likewise, customers can also manage their complete Springfield firearms collection in the “My Armory” section. In “My Armory” all firearms added by the user will be displayed along with their warranty information. In addition, each firearm in your “Armory” will have a direct link to its corresponding user manual.

Similarly, along with the manuals for your firearms, the dashboard and app also include manuals for all Springfield firearms. This allows you a quick reference to any Springfield models you may be considering for purchase.

The user manuals are fully optimized for digital viewing on both mobile and desktop devices. Correspondingly, the manuals fully leverage the digital platform by integrating helpful instructional videos for fieldstripping, optics installation, and more. In addition, the manuals can be printed or saved in the app for offline viewing during internet outages or signal loss.

Although not currently in the app, the dashboard also gives access to regular giveaways from Springfield. This allows you to enter the giveaways directly from your dashboard without having to search them out.

The dashboard and app also include a direct link to Customer Support with a phone number, email address, form, or live chat. As a result, you can be sure to get an answer fast.

Finally, when you activate the lifetime warranty for your firearm through the dashboard or app, you will receive a complimentary two-year subscription to the quarterly The Armory Life print magazine and 15% off at the Springfield webstore.

Editor’s Note

I downloaded the app, and it is really clean and easy to use. The manuals are well laid out and concise. I haven’t required Customer Service yet, so I can’t speak to that, but it looks very easy to use.

When I click on one of my firearms, I am taken to an overview page that lists the entire specs and a quick link to the manual at the top of the page. I can also view my warranty information at a glance.

All in all, so far, it looks really promising and user-friendly. And the integrated videos in the manual are a helpful resource as well.
