This gun comes ready to carry, available in either a 3- or 4-inch configuration. The Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) configuration delivers a host of factory modifications to the traditional 1911 form. Built around the 9mm cartridge, the EMP features a frame with reduced circumference and diminutive dimensions. The 4-inch Ronin EMP also brings 10+1 rounds to the fight. Meanwhile, the tiny 3-inch model still maintains 9+1 at the ready.

Ronin EMP 3-Inch

The 3-inch Ronin EMP features a bushingless bull barrel from forged stainless steel, complete with a fully supported ramp. The thick profile delivers strength, rigidity and accuracy, according to Springfield Armory. A forged aluminum frame contributes to the lightweight package.

Ronin EMP 4-Inch

The 4-inch Ronin EMP offers another highly concealable option, this one with a capacity of 10+1 in an EDC 1911. The compact slide and reduced-size frame comprises a gun many will enjoy both shooting and carrying. Springfield shortened both the frame and action, along with the barrel and slide. As such, it utilizes 11 proprietary distinct from a standard 1911. But the reduced grip radius stands out for delivering comfort and control.
