During the recent SHOT Show in Las Vegas, we caught up with the folks at Springfield Armory. Moreover, we jumped at the chance to learn a little more about the company’s newest line of rifles and pistols, the Springfield Armory Saint Victor series. Billed as being built to professional standards, Springfield designed the Saint Victor line for defensive use.

Saint Victor Rifle
The Saint Victor lower receiver features Accu-Tite tension bonding to a flat-top forged upper. Also, Springfield finished the 16-inch barrel with Melonite to resist corrosion. The company’s 15-inch free-float M-LOK handgauard provides ample attachment points. Notably, the video points out the company chose to leave Picatinny off the topside of the rail. Above all, this design aids those using a C-clamp grip as has become popular.
A pinned, low-profile gas block resides beneath the handguard. Additionally, Springfield includes spring-loaded flip-up sights, a nickel-boron coated single-stage flat trigger and a proprietary muzzle brake. Also, the back of the receiver sports a staked receiver end plate and QD mount for sling attachment.
Internally, the M16 bolt carrier group features a Melonite finish, while the 9310 steel bolt is shot peened. Finally, a Strike Industries Featureless Grip and Magpul MOE Fixed stock round out the package.
Springfield Armory Saint Victor Pistol
While sporting several features from the rifle, the pistol sports a 7.6 inch barrel in 5.56mm and 9-inch barrel in 300 BLK. Moreover, the 7.5-inch Pistol includes a SA Forward Blast Diverter muzzle device, while the 9-inch model wears an A2 flash hider. Finally, an SB Tactical SBX-K forearm brace enhances shooting.
The Saint Victor Rifle and SBR retail for $1,073. Meanwhile, the Saint Victor Pistol retails for $1,015.
