The Springfield Saint rifle AR-15 series now includes the Saint SBR and Saint Edge SBR, models the company refers to as the “ultimate hard use combat carbines.”

Chambered in 5.56x45mm, both models feature 11.5-inch barrels. In addition, each rifle is machined from aircraft grade 7075 T6 aluminum and Type III hard coat anodized. A Bravo Company stock and pistol grip, as well as a Magpul Gen3 PMAG, are also included. Another common feature of both guns is a free-float M-LOK compatible handguard with four attachment points anchoring it to the barrel nut. Under the handguard is Springfield’s pinned multi/mode adjustable gas block.
The 11.5-inch CMV barrel on the Saint SBR is government-profiled. Meanwhile, this gun features a forged lower and a nickel boron GI-style trigger.
The Saint Edge CMV barrel is light-weight profiled. This model includes a billet lower with QD mounts machined into it, as well as weight-reducing cuts that lighten it by two ounces. An ambi 90-degree safety and extended mid-sized charging handle are also part of the package. The trigger is a proprietary short-reset single stage design.
The Saint SBR is available for $1,049. MSRP on the Saint Edge SBR is $1,299. All NFA rules and regulations apply. Specs for each are listed below, in addition to a hype video.
