GlockStore has announced the SS80, a new single stack 80 percent lower for those of you looking to build your own Glock 43.

Developed in response to customer feedback and available exclusively through GlockStore, the SS80 is made with a more durable nylon/polymer blend compared to the original G43 which reduces felt recoil and boosts reliability, the company says. The grip texture is also more aggressive than the factory G43, offering striking looks and a rock solid grip for more control. Other features of note are the double undercut trigger guard which allows for a higher grip on the gun; longer beavertail than a factory G43; extended rear rail system and extended locking block.
The SS80 comes with a jig fixture. Also included are two drill bits. In order to finish the frame, you’ll need a vise, a Dremel tool, drill, sandpaper and some WD40. To fully complete your build, GlockStore offers a lower parts kit, an upper parts kit and complete uppers as well.
GlockStore says the SS80 single stack 80 percent lower is compatible only with factory and aftermarket Glock 43 parts. It’s not designed for any other Glock model.
The suggested retail price on the SS80 is $150, but GlockStore has it on sale for 129.99. Pre-orders are being accepted now for a March delivery. Below, watch a three-part video series that features GlockStore founder Lenny Magill discussing the SS80 and walking you through exactly how to complete it.
