Staccato CS: Staccato’s Smallest, Most Concealable 2011 Addition

Known for its high-quality 2011’s, Staccato releases a more concealable version of its popular line with the CS. However, although it is smaller, Staccato went to great lengths to ensure that it handled like a larger 2011. For this reason, the company boasts that the CS delivers the same shootability, speed, and accuracy, just in a smaller package.

The Staccato CS

Featuring a 7075 billet precision machined aluminum frame, the CS remains a lightweight 22.7 ounces, unloaded. According to the company, it is the smallest, lightest, and most concealable addition to its 2011 family of pistols. Featuring a new grip design, the CS is specifically designed for a range of hand sizes. Likewise, the 1.2-inch thickness not only helps conceal it but is perfect for smaller hands. However, it’s worth noting that the pistol measures 1.45 inches at the ambidextrous safeties.

Along with manual ambidextrous thumb safety is the beavertail grip safety, ensuring safe handling at all times. The slide features deep forward and rear cocking serrations for easy slide manipulation under duress, whether dry or wet.

Nestled within the slide is the 3.5-inch bull barrel to help mitigate recoil of the shorter, 7.1-inch overall length. Likewise, an all-new patent pending Dawson Precision 3.5-inch toolless recoil system also helps get you back on target quickly.

Riding atop the slide is your choice of carry or tactical, full-size or compact sights. The fiber optic front sight couples with a Dawson Precision patented optic rear sight. However, if you prefer, the slide also features a deeply milled optic cut for your choice of red dot sight. As a result, co-witnessing is possible with optics using the Shield RMS/SMS footprint.

Chambered in 9mm, rounds are sent downrange via a 4 – 4.5-pound aluminum, long curve trigger. However, for an additional fee, an aluminum flat trigger is available. Using a dedicated magazine, the CS offers a 16+1 round capacity. Correspondingly, three magazines come with the Staccato CS.
