A ton of new safes were on display at SHOT Show this year, and here’s one of them: Stack-On Products’ new fireproof personal safe with an electronic lock and backup key. This new model boasts a welded steel construction for optimum protection, especially compared to other safes out there in the marketplace right now.
According to the press release, the new fireproof personal safe, Model #PFS-1608, is fireproof up to 1400°F for 30 minutes, which has been verified by an independent lab. It comes with two solid-steel live-action locking bolts and two dead bolts. Meanwhile, the electronic lock stores a three to eight digit combination. If you find yourself in a situation where silent-entry into the safe is paramount, you have that option as well. And when all else fails, you can use the included backup key.
This model comes with a fully-carpeted interior with one removable foam-padded shelf. The interior features 8 cubic feet of space. This product weighs 50 pounds and measures 15″ w x 11.75″ d x 11.75″ h. Mounting hardware is also included.
