Steiner H6Xi Riflescope Series: Modern Hunting w/a Tactical Edge

Last year, Steiner released its T6Xi tactical riflescope series for military and law enforcement. The series delivered enhanced light transmission and clarity, living up to the company’s name. This year, Steiner set its sights (pun intended) on the modern hunter with its new H6Xi riflescope series, boasting the same DNA.

The Steiner H6Xi Riflescope Series

Milled from solid aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the H6Xi series comes in three lengths, 11.8, 13.3, and 15.4 inches. Correspondingly, the first focal plane 6x optical system is offered in 2-12x42mm, 3-16x50mm, and 5-30x50mm zoom ranges. The 30mm tube of each model provides a rugged, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof operation for extreme hunting environments.

Utilizing Steiner’s HD (high-density) lens, the H6Xi series boasts optical clarity, 92% light transmission, and a wide field of view. As a result, hunters will experience positive target identification and be able to apply a fast-sighting solution. Correspondingly, the riflescopes feature the illuminated Steiner Modern Hunting Reticle (MHR), set to the first focal plane.

The MHR provides duplex crosshairs for quick aiming in the lower magnification range. Likewise, the system delivers precise, illuminated denotation for wind drift and bullet drop when zoomed in for distant shots. The H6Xi provides 11 illumination settings, two night vision, four night settings, and five day settings.

The low-profile elevation turret features easy-to-read numbers, tactile detents with audible clicks, and a zero click stop. As a result, making precise adjustments is easy, even in low light. Likewise, the capped windage knob ensures that your setting will not be disturbed when trekking in rough terrain.

Additionally, the focus adjustment knob backs the illumination dial providing a fine parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity. All knobs and the power adjustment ring feature aggressive knurling for no-slip operation, even with gloved hands. In addition, the diopter comes with a locking ring, so you don’t have to worry about moving your eyepiece out of focus.

Availability

The Steiner H6Xi Riflescope is available now with MSRPs of $2,299.00 – $2,874.00, depending on the model. For more info, please visit Stiener-Optics.com.
