The Stevens 301 by Savage Arms first popped up at the 2017 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits earlier this year, and now it looks like shipments of these single-shot shotguns are currently being delivered to dealers.
Designed for practical hunters, the Stevens 301 features a crisp and reliable break action, as well as a durable and modern synthetic stock designed to withstand brutal abuse in the field.
The Stevens 301 comes in .410, as well as 12 and 20 gauge. The 12 gauge model has a 26-inch barrel, while the 20 gauge and .410 offerings are each available with either a 22 or 26-inch barrel. All models boast a matte black finish on the barrel and receiver.
The suggested retail price for all versions of this single shot shotgun is a very affordable $173. Basically if you’re looking for a rugged and reliable single-shot, break-action scattergun, or want to get your youngster started on his shooting journey, this looks to be something to consider.
