The Streamlight Stinger flashlight has always offered robust performance, and now it provides true color recognition with Color-Rite technology. Using a specialized LED, the Stinger Color-Rite allows users to see the color spectrum the same as natural light. Likewise, its soft, warm beam helps identify subtle details that might not be as easily noticeable with a standard LED.
The Streamlight Stinger Color-Rite Flashlight
Featuring an anodized aluminum construction, the Stinger Color-Rite was tested with an impact resistance of 1 meter. Likewise, the unbreakable polycarbonate lens has a scratch-resistant coating. As a result, the flashlight can withstand hard daily use and remain operational. However, it only has an IPX4 water-resistant rating, so it can only handle light rain and water splashes—no submersion.
The housing features a non-slip rubberized comfort grip, providing a secure purchase whether wet or dry. A multi-function, push-button switch is placed at the thumb for intuitive actuation. The button allows users to quickly switch between high, medium, low, and strobe beams, as well as on/off operation.
Utilizing a High Color Rendering Index (90 CRI) LED, the Stinger Color-Rite enhances visualization with a 3,000K color temperature. As a result, users can see the full-color spectrum the same as with natural lighting. Likewise, the soft, warm beam helps to prevent glare and eye fatigue during extended use.
Operating on a single rechargeable Ni-MH battery, the Stinger provides 1.5 hours of run time on the 500-lumen high setting. Likewise, it provides 2.5 hours on medium (275 lumens), 5 hours on low (140 lumens), and 3 hours on strobe.
Correspondingly, the deep-dish parabolic reflector produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral illumination. The beam has a distance of 265m on high, 190m on medium, and 134m on low.
The Color-Rite is compatible with previous Stinger chargers. So, it is available with or without a charger as a cost-saving measure for current Stinger owners.
