According to the press release, the XH35 pairs a recoil-proof LED with a “precision, undulated reflector” to create the company’s MaxVision Beam touted as being good for closer-range engagements. The weaponlight comes with two mode selector switches. One switch toggles between 1,000 lumens and 300 lumens. The second switch toggles between continuous light operation and a strobe mode described by SureFire as “disorienting.”

Users can activate the XH35 via the one-fingered, ambidextrous switching located at the rear of the body, in keeping with the X300U and X400U switching. Optional DG Grip switches, which allow for one-handed activation without changing your grip, are also available.

The XH35 is powered by two CR123A batteries, with the run time being 1.25 hours on 1,000 lumens and 2.5 hours on 300 lumens. It measures 3.7 inches in overall length while also tipping the scales at 4.8 ounces. Additionally, the body is aerospace aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, and O-ring and gasket sealed for weatherproofing.
