SureFire is looking out for law enforcement officers with its new single-output LED flashlight, which the company says is “built for the streets.”
The rechargeable P1R Peacekeeper Tactical, developed by and for law enforcement, features a high-performance LED that’s focused by a precision reflector to create a stunning 600-lumen beam with significant reach and substantial peripheral illumination for situational awareness.
Its compact, knurled body and tactical switch make the P1R ideal for use with a handgun. With a length of 5.37 inches, a bezel diameter of 1.37 inches and a weight of just 6.2 ounces with batteries, the P1R Peacekeeper is ideal for all tactical situations.
Users can press the Peacekeeper Tactical’s tailcap switch for momentary-on, ideal for tactical maneuvers and situations where intermittent light provides an advantage. Users can also rotate the tailcap clockwise for constant-on activation when continuous illumination is preferred.
Powered by a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery, which is readily available and has a long service life, the P1R Peacekeeper Tactical can also run on two disposable 123A lithium batteries if needed. Users can recharge the li-ion battery via the AC wall charger or the DC vehicle charger, both of which are included. The flashlight has a runtime of 1.75 hours.
Constructed of aerospace aluminum with knurling for a secure grip, the body is Mil-Spec hard anodized for maximum durability. The body is also O-ring and gasket sealed for dirt and water resistance.
The P1R Peacekeeper Tactical retails for $250 and is available now.
