SureFire just launched some exciting news–again. The SureFire XSC Weapon Light, first announced last year, finally began shipping. Better late than never, the XSC Weapon Lights bring a rechargeable system to micro-compact handguns for everyday carry.
SureFire XSC Weapon Light
Last year, the XSC became a manufacturing casualty of Covid-19. Interruption in battery supplies delayed the launch of a highly-anticipated weapon light. With the rise of micro-compact, carry optics pistols, the XSC fills a growing need.
Compact, lightweight and durable, the XSC’s micro-footprint keeps pistols concealable. But it ads security with as a duty-grade weapon light. The unit measures less than 2 inches long and weighs just 1.7 ounces. Each model seamlessly and securely attaches to specific handgun models. The XSC-A fits Glock 43X and 48 pistols with accessory rail. It also works on Glock 43X MOS and 48 MOS Models. The XSC-P365 fits SIG P36, P365 X RomeoZero, P365 SAS, P365 XL and P365 XL RomeoZero. Finally, the XSC-Hellcat fits the Springfield Armory Hellcat and Hellcat RDP.
The XSC utilizes ambidextrous switching for momentary- or constant-on activation. The LED light delivers 350 lumens of intense white light via SureFire’s parabolic reflector technology. The system creates a concentrated hot spot with significant throw and surrounding spill, according to SureFire. The resulting beam pattern provides excellent illumination at target distances up to 25 yards.
The XSX comes with a rugged aluminum body, Mil-A-8625 Type II, Class 2 hard-anodized. It resists both scratching and corrosion. The lithium polymer battery changes without removing the weapon light from the handgun. Every XSC comes with a SureFire cradle charger capable of charging two batteries simultaneously. Each battery features an LED fuel gauge. It displays charge level upon the press of a button.
The SureFire XSC Weapon Light retails for $329. For even more info, please visit surefire.com.
