S&W J-Frames Now With LaserMax CenterFire Laser System

Select Smith & Wesson J-Frame models — the Model 642, Model 442, Model 637 and Model 638 — are now available with a factory-installed LaserMax CenterFire laser sighting system.

As the press release notes, the LaserMax CenterFire laser is custom designed to fit the revolver frame. Located under the bore, the sight features LaserMax’s Controlled Activation, which lets the user operate from concealment without releaving his or her position. In addition, the LaserMax laser incorporates advanced functionality including improved ambixestrous tap-on/tap-off activation, a 10-minute auto time-out feature and the ability to switch between a solid or pulsed beam.
