Swingin’ D Horse Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and retraining horses that require special care, recently announced its 2024 online nationwide raffle fundraiser. The event raises fund to cover the extensive costs of rescue efforts, typically supported through private donations and annual fundraising.

This year’s raffle features a wide array of incredible prizes ranging from firearms and tools to jewelry and weekend getaways, ensuring there’s something for everyone. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly toward the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of horses in need, including covering veterinary expenses, food, shelter, and retraining costs.
Horses ridden to battle, carried the likes of famous outlaws and lawmen, brought the settler and tradesman and rogue to the American West, and continue to carry hunters into the mountains and forests for elusive game. When not corralling cattle, or managing crowds for the police, or plowing fields, or helping a veteran or disabled person gain new confidence in themselves, horses are still much of the American fabric of our history and life, but unfortunately many will meet a cruel end in the slaughterhouse pipeline. Swingin D’ Horse Rescue remains committed to helping as many horses have a new lease on life.
“We take in horses that have been neglected, abandoned, or surrendered, and we dedicate ourselves to their full rehabilitation,” said Tami Marler of Swingin’ D Horse Rescue. “This fundraiser is vital for us to continue our mission. It’s an opportunity for horse lovers and supporters of all kinds to not only win amazing prizes but also make a meaningful impact in the lives of these incredible animals.”
Prizes include a Taurus Judge revolver, Ruger Security pistol, AR pistol, AR rifle, ammunition and gear.
