“We pride ourselves on always staying ahead of the competition with our products,” said Chet Alvord, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tactical Solutions. “All of us at Tacsol have worked painstakingly hard to create such a versatile rifle, we believe that the VR will become a staple within our product line and we believe our customers will see the difference after the first shot.”
X-Ring VR Features
Firstly, the X-Ring series of rifles utilizes a lightweight aluminum .920-inch barrel. Moreover, the rifle sports a billet receiver milled from 6061-T6 aluminum.
The redesigned bolt and bolt handle enable shooters to choose between left- or right-side charging. Also, TacSol heat treats the steel bolt. Further, a dual spring guide rod system improves reliability and functionality, according to TacSol.
Each TacSol rifle features through-the-back access, enabling easier cleaning of the receiver and bore. Additionally, a 15 MOA Picatinny rail provides ample surface for optics.
Models include variations with Hogue, Vantage RS and Magpul Hunter X-22 rifle stocks. Other options include open sights. Suggested retail prices range from $985 to $1,110. Above all, the X-Ring VR rifle line delivers models well suited for plinking, hunting or competition shooting.
For those more interested in their own rifle build, where TacSol cut its teeth, the company offers the X-Ring VR Receiver. Weighing 16 ounces, the X-Ring VR Receiver comes in Matte Black, Gun Metal Gray, Quicksand, Matte OD Green and Silver anodized finishes. The X-Ring VR Receiver retails for $570.
