TacStar’s Sidesaddle line has been a popular choice for shotgun owners for years due to its convenient placement of shells right where shooters need them for a fast reload.
Well, the company has taken its Sidesaddle to the next level with its new slimline version.

The Slimline Sidesaddle utilizes a non-glare, anodized aluminum backing plate material, just like the traditional Sidesaddle. However, the company has contoured the plate so that it takes up less space on the receiver and has fewer areas that could potentially snag.

Additionally, TacStar has changed the shell carrier itself to its proprietary flexible synthetic rubber material, which offers durability and weather resistance as well as secure shell retention. Like the backing plate, the shell carrier also is smaller is size than the traditional Sidesaddle, adding to its sleek appearance.
The new model was designed for 12 gauge only.

The Slimline Sidesaddle is available for the Remington 870/1100 and Mossberg 500/590 at an MSRP of $42.50.
