The New Terrain 365 Slipjoint, Otter Slip Flip-AT, is Impervious to Rust

The Terrain 365 Otter Slip Flip-AT Slipjoint

The 3-inch spear point blade utilizes Terrain 365’s proprietary Terravantium Dendritic Cobalt steel. The steel is rustproof, corrosion resistant, nonferrous and nonmagnetic, giving the knife the AT (all terrain) designation.

Separating it from most knives, you can use the Otter Slip Flip-AT under water, even in salt water. Making it a true outdoors knife, perfect for the fisherman in your life—even if that’s you. Adding to its rustproof qualities is all titanium hardware and ceramic bearings and ball detent.

The Otter Slip Flip-AT gets its name from Terrain 365’s Otter Slipjoint but features a front flipper design. As the name implies, when open the blade is a slipjoint design, meaning there is no locking mechanism. Slipjoint models utilize friction and a detent to remain open during use. The titanium detent leaf ensures a long life of solid performance.

The Terrain 365 Otter Slip Flip-AT slipjoint rides fairly low in the pocket via the solid titanium pocket clip. With the knife carrying right-hand tip up only, the front flipper tab is immediately accessible out of the pocket. Unfortunately, the pocket clip is not reversable, so lefties will have to compensate.

The Otter Slip Flip-AT is available with either titanium or carbon fiber handle scales. Although the titanium version is a little more, it shaves an ounce off the overall weight of the knife.
