Legion Introduces Micro Pistol Lineup With P238 & P938

SIG Sauer developed the Legion series with input from elite shooting professionals to exceed shooters’ expectations. These handguns worked as planned. Now, the company is expanding the line with the SIG Micro-Compact Legion pistols.

Listed as the P238 and the P938, these pistols come with a Legion-gray slide and frame, like all guns in the series. Being hammer-fired guns, they also feature a precision machined aluminum trigger and custom high-checkered black G10 grips with a Legion medallion.

Additionally, like all Legion Series pistols, the P238 and P938 also feature a reduced and contoured elite beavertail; this allows a higher grip, but a reduced profile, which is supposed to help prevent printing.

“The introduction of these two micro-compact pistols to the Legion Series was driven by our Legion members whom have been asking us to expand this product line,” said Tom Taylor, SIG Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. “With the addition of the Legion series P938 and P238 pistols, not only have we have expanded our Legion series of pistols, we have also introduced an entirely new category of pistols to Legion with the micro-compact.”

These pistols also come with X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights. These 3-Dot tritium sights come standard on Legion pistols and provide viewing regardless of situations. The tritium glows for engaging targets in low light, while the white makes them easy to use during the day. Even better, SIG surrounded the sights with steel to protect them from recoil, cleaning solutions and the elements.
