Testing

For testing, I mounted the device on my Rise Armament Watchman XR 22 ARC with a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18. Mounting the device was very simple, and in less than a minute, I was powering it up. The QDM mount made it easy to attach and equally easy to remove. The kit I received included a rubber-style light shield that mated the thermal to the scope. The setup is truly plug-and-play. Once powered up, I easily moved through the menu and set my preferred view.

While the unit weighs 16 ounces, it is centered nicely on my rifle, making it a non-issue. The screen was clear, and I could easily scan and shoot without any issues. While I mentioned it earlier, it is worth noting again. This device can easily and quickly move between different rifles without re-zeroing. The ATN TICO LTV 640 gives it a versatility that is hard to find. I could also remove the device and use it as a held thermal for scanning. Once done, I simply put it back on the rifle.
