Toor Knives and Sangin Instruments Collaboration, the Admiral EDC Knife

A friendship dating back to the Marines, Connor Toor and Jake Servantes are no strangers to working together. A recent collaboration between their companies, Toor Knives and Sangin Instruments, with their EDC knife the Admiral, only exemplifies this.

The Toor Knives Sangin Instruments Admiral

With a blade length of only 3 inches, the Admiral is legal in most jurisdictions, even where knives are highly scrutinized. However, it is still a good idea to check your local laws and ordinances before carrying. The CPM 154 blade is available in both stone and carbon finishes. Additionally, the blade rides on minimal bronze phosphorous washers, which reduce the surface engagement against the steel. As a result, the Admiral glides open smoothly and consistently.

The high saber grind helps to ensure a keen edge, while a 59-61 Rockwell hardness holds it. Furthermore, the aggressive drop point blade places the tip directly in the centerline of the knife for excellent tip control. Also, the large choil allows for finer work, by choking up on the blade.

The 6AL-4V titanium handle features a durable black KG Gunkote finish and beautiful accents of gold anodized titanium hardware. A frame lock ensures that the blade comes to a solid lockup as well as providing secure use. The matt black deep carry pocket clip keeps your knife discreet, even in dress attire. Although, the clip is only configured for right-hand tip-up carry only and cannot be reconfigured.

With an overall length of 7 inches, the Admiral is large enough to get the job done, while still small enough for any occasion. Also, the 3.5-ounce weight disappears in the pocket, even in dress slacks. Finally, each Admiral includes a unique serial number, for authenticity.
