The following is a press release from TOPS Knives
Welcome to the jungle. Joe Flowers designed the Brakimo (pronounced BRAH-key-moe) to be the official knife of Bushcraft Global, which takes adventurers into the Colombian jungle to learn survival skills from Joe alongside indigenous guides. The modified Scandi grind excels at woodcutting tasks and some harder use than a traditional Scandi can handle. It’s great as a backup to a machete or as a primary camp knife. The word Brakimo comes from the Matis tribe located in Brazil that was not contacted by the modern world until the 70s.
