Troy Defense’s New .308 Checks All The Boxes

Like ordering a pizza with the works, Troy Defense’s new .308 Precision Rifle comes with everything a shooter could want.

The .308 Precision Rifle features a 13.8-inch Alpha 308 rail. Built-off of the revolutionary patented TRX Extreme, the Alpha 308 brings the same sleek, lightweight, low-profile design to the more powerful .308 platform.

Troy’s 308 Alpha rail is machined from hardened aircraft aluminum with stainless steel components and finished in MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodizing. The Alpha 308 includes a hand guard, barrel nut and three quick attach rails and is available in black only.

Attached to the Alpha 308 are Troy’s flip-up BattleSights.

At the end of the barrel is the Medieval Muzzle Brake 556. The rugged brake enhances control and accuracy during full auto and rapid fire. The aggressive diamond-shaped teeth are designed for close quarter battle. It’s also tough enough to serve as an improvised breaching device if the situation calls for it.

The Medival Muzzle Brake is made using a heat-treated ordnance steel construction.

At the rear of the firearm is the six-position Troy Lightweight BattleAx CQB Stock, which collapses compactly and securely with an unmatched storage capacity.

The high-impact rubber butt plate composition decreases the weight of the original Troy BattleAx CQB Stock by 7 ounces and affords zero slip. This stock includes Q.D. swivel sockets and a heavy duty Q.D. Push Button Swivel. Made from Troy proprietary military-grade, chemical, biological and impact resistant polymer, the Lightweight BattleAx CQB Stock is the best solution for butt stock storage. It is available in black, flat dark earth, coyote tan and OD green.
