Troy Industries just released its latest rifle platforms built for precision and performance. The Troy Long Rifle MK11 series brings a large-frame AR design chambered in .308 Win. for long-range precision.
Troy Long Rifle MK11 Series Details
The MK11 Mod. 1 comprises a sub-MOA platform. Troy claims accuracy out to 1,400 meters with rifles from the series. The MK11 features an 18-inch, 1:10-twist barrel chambered in .308. It utilizes a medium profile to keep weight down while maintaining accuracy and barrel harmonics, according to Troy. A rifle-length gas system runs the platform.
A 4.5-pound, two-stage LaRue MBT-2S Straight Bow trigger helps users extract the most accuracy. A Troy MK11 Flash Hider helps eliminate flash. The Troy MK11 Mod. 1 bolt carrier utilizes industrial hard chrome for durability. Meanwhile, a full-length MK11 buffer made from stainless steel and nitride finished adds appeal.
Troy also included its new Pneuma Gas Diverting Ambi Charging Handle in the build. The design reduces gas back in the shooters face, fixing increased back-pressure when using suppressors.
The upper and lower receiver utilizes mil-spec, CNC machined 7075 aluminum. They interchange with the U.S. military-issue MK11/M110SR25 rifles, each part Type III hard-coat anodized. An ambidextrous fire selector provides further utility.
A 15-inch M-LOK rail delivers space for attaching accessories. It secures to the upper receiver using Troy’s quad-lock system. The build also includes 45-degree Offset Battle Sights and a Condition1 45-inch hard case.
