Let’s face it: a handgun laser sight is a great tool for shooters looking to get on target when he or she isn’t afforded the time to properly line up the sights; is firing from an awkward position or from cover; or just wants to learn the fundamentals of handgun shooting. That’s why we thought we’d let you know there’s a new laser sight on the market: UTG’s Compact Ambidextrous Green Laser.
According to the presser, the laser sports an ambidextrous toggle switch operation that allows it to be manipulated while shooting with one or two hands. The switch operates two ways: you can either press and hold it down to activate momentary-on, or press up on the lever to activate constant-on. Another upward press turns the laser off.
The laser comes with three removable Posi-lock tab inserts, allowing for more compatibility with a wider variety of pistols and other firearms, the company says. Additionally, it’s built on UTG’s “True Strength” platform, which has a “Smart Spherical” structure and four-point design featuring double coiled erector return springs to achieve precise windage/elevation adjustments and zero retention.
Machined from aircraft aluminum and sporting a matte black anodized finish, the UTG Compact Ambidextrous Green Laser ships with a 1/3N battery and all the installation tools needed to get you ready to rock right out of the box.
The MSRP on this laser is comes in at $99.97.
