As with many Versacarry holsters, the Decree features a premium water buffalo leather construction. In addition, they are made right here in the United States and are not subject to supply chain issues. Industrial grade bonded nylon thread holds the premium leather together, for long-lasting wear.

The Decree features a raised double ply backing for comfort and keeping the firearm separate from the wearer. Ensuring a more confident draw, it additionally features a forward cant. As a result, the hand remains in a natural position, every time you draw your pistol. The holster is held in place by two large belt loops designed to accommodate a 1.5-inch belt.

Utilizing an embedded copper spine, the Decree achieves a non-collapsible design. Consequently, the holster remains open when the firearm is removed, allowing for easier re-holstering when you are done shooting. Placed over the top of the copper spine is a black leather cover, with slots to reveal the copper. This, in effect, gives the holster a classy, three tone look of brown and black leather, offset by copper highlights.
