Viridian Weapon Technologies Builds On C5L Weapon Light/Laser with the New Micro Variant

Featuring a 6061 aluminum construction with hard coat anodization, the C5L Micro remains lightweight and durable. Working down from the original C5L, the new model features a compact size of 1.59 x 1.02 x 1.15-inch form. Likewise, this latest model utilizes the universal Picatinny rail mount and is designed to fit small- to medium-frame pistols.

Joining the C Series from Viridian, the C5L also includes the company’s INSTANT-ON technology. This feature is designed to work with compatible Viridian holsters, allowing users to set the light to turn on as they draw their pistols. However, if you prefer manual operation, ambidextrous activation buttons provide fast actuation.

Delivering a 550-lumen peak output on high, the rechargeable Micro provides up to 60 minutes of runtime per charge. Additionally, the light/laser combo utilizes Viridian’s portable SAFECharge system, so you can charge it anywhere, on the go. Likewise, the magnetic connection of the charger ensures a quick disconnect when you need your pistol in a hurry.

In addition to the light, the C5L packs a <5mW Viridian Green Laser to provide a fast aiming solution. The daytime visible green laser is the brightest laser legally allowed, ensuring that the aim point won’t get lost when it counts. Not to mention, green is proving to be more visible to the human eye, making it an ideal color.
