Viridian has unveiled its Reactor Gen 2 lineup, which includes the R5 Gen 2 Green Laser Sight, R5-R Gen 2 Red Laser Sight and RTL Gen 2 Taclight.

The R5 Gen 2 Green Laser Sight boasts triple battery life with over three hours of use in constant mode. It also features up to six hours of use in pulse mode. The R5-R Gen 2 Red Laser Sight features “upgraded circuitry and other improvements from previous models” and has a powerful red laser, the press release says. The RTL Gen 2 Taclight offers up a 140-lumen weapon-mounted light with up to two hours of continuous use. User-defined modes include a strobe function while the company’s “Radiance Combat Optics” stretches the light pattern horizontally.

Reactor Gen 2 Holster

All the new Reactor Gen 2 models come with an upgraded gun-specific IWB holster equipped with Viridian’s Instant-On technology. This ensures the light and laser is activated automatically when the gun is drawn.

All Reactor Gen 2 models are compatible with pistols from Glock, Ruger, Springfield, Smith & Wesson and more. MSRP starts at $119 and tops off at $239, depending on the option you choose.
