“With the introduction of Vudu riflescopes in 2017, the precision shooting community was quick to recognize the high level of engineering, premium components, and exceptional build quality that go into every scope in the line,” said Jeff Stawiarski, Vice President Sales & Marketing at EOTECH. “We’re thrilled to bring passionate precision shooters yet another rugged, feature-packed offering.”
The 1-8x24mm SFP serves competition and defensive shooters alike. The optic joins a Vudu lineup including five existing configurations. Those include 1–6x24mm FFP; 2.5–10x44mm FFP; 3.5–18x50mm FFP and SFP; 8–32x50mm SFP; and the compact, and 11.2-inch 5–25x50mm FFP.
Like other Vudu scopes, the 1-8×24 SFP feature a one-pice, aircraft-grade aluminum 30mm tube. Fully multi-coated XC High-Density glass provides resolution, color fidelity and low-light performance, according to EOTech. Precise turrets and intuitive push-button reticle illumination controls aid in use. The HC3 quad-level ballistic drop compensating reticle features a precise 0.5-minute of angle, daylight-visible illuminated center dot. Vertical subtensions include 2-, 5-, 8.5- and 12.5-MOA at 8X.
The 1-8×24 SFT delivers true 1X magnification at its lowest setting. It measures just 10.6 inches in length and weighs a mere 21.3 ounces. It comes in shorter and lighter than most other scopes in this configuration, according to EOTech. The Vudu 1-8×24 SFP retails for $1,399.
