The Aimpoint Micro T-1 has arguably been the premier micro red-dot optic since its introduction in 2007. The new Micro T-2 is Aimpoint’s latest and most impressive optic. While the general size and appearance is similar to the Micro T-1, the Micro T-2 is a completely new optic.

With an overall length of just 2.7 inches and weighing less than 5 ounces, the Micro T-2 takes up very little real estate and adds minimal weight to the rifle or pistol. The new aluminum housing is more streamlined and provides protective wings for the elevation turret. The improved lens design and its new coating improve light transmission and clarity of the 2-MOA red dot. This is especially noticeable when using the Aimpoint 3X magnifier.
As with the Micro T-1, the Micro T-2 is parallax free with unlimited eye relief. The new housing also provides enhanced protection for the electronic components. Like the Micro T-1, the Micro T-2 is powered by a single CR2032, 3-volt, lithium battery that provides 50,000 hours of constant run time on a daylight setting. Eight daylight settings and four night-vision settings enable the user to adjust the sight for a wide variety of lighting conditions. The Micro T-2 comes standard with transparent front and rear flip-up lens covers. The Micro T-2 is also compatible with Aimpoint’s 3X magnifier and the Concealed Engagement Unit (CEU). The Micro T-2 has not only raised the bar, but it’s also redefined the rating scale for red-dot optics.
