Weatherby Mark V Live Wild Details
“When it comes to partnering with people in the industry, we strive to find those that align with our values in so many respects,” said Adam Weatherby. “Remi Warren is a person who I look up to as a hunter, a shooter, a wildlife conservationist, and a family man. It is with great excitement that we are launching a new partnership and rifle with Remi and Live Wild heading into 2024 and beyond.”
Weatherby went full send with this one. It comes in a host of calibers, including traditional cartridges like .243 Win, .270 Win, .30-06 Sprg, .308 Win and 7mm Rem. It also comes in Weatherby classics as well, including .240 Wby Mag, .257 Wby Mag, .270 Wby Mag, .300 Wby Mag and more. Chamberings also incorporate modern popular long-range offerings like the 7mm PRC, 300 PRC and 6.5 Creedmoor.
Rifle Features
Each rifle incorporates Weatherby’s famed Mark V action. It comes with a 54-degree bolt and employs an adjustable TriggerTech trigger. This version adjusts between 2.5 and 5 pounds. A spiral fluted barrel and bolt provide both form and function. The design reduces weight and delivers a striking appearance. A skeletonized bolt knob continues on the theme.
A radial Accubrake helps mitigate recoil; however, 1/2×28 threads enables other muzzle devices or a suppressor. A hand-painted stock adds unique artwork on this special-edition rifle. Better still, the entire package weighs just 5.6 pounds, making it particularly well-suited for the backcountry.
The Mark V Live Wild retails for $1,649. For more info, visit weatherby.com.
