In 2023, Weatherby launched the Model 307 action. It marked the first new Weatherby centerfire rifle action since the 1960’s. Built to compliment the iconic Mark V and Vanguard rifle lines, the Model 307 features a two-lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Now the line gets another update with the Weatherby Model 307 Range XP 2.0.

The Model 307 features a fluted bolt with a toolless disassembly, TriggerTech trigger and detachable magazine. Weatherby sought to create an action that could accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, mounts and magazines on the consumer market today. Weatherby builds all rifles with Model 307 actions in its Sheridan, Wyoming headquarters, ensuring the same precision craftsmanship known to Weatherby shooters since 1945.

Model 307 Range XP 2.0 Details

The Range XP 2.0 features a lightweight, vertical grip stock that includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull providing a custom fit for the shooter. Touch points textured into the stock provide a non-slip grip, while dual front swivel studs create multiple accessory attachment points. The Range XP 2.0 comes standard with an adjustable TriggerTech trigger. It also utilizes a Magpul removable magazine. The skip-fluted barrel comes fluted, fitted with a recoil-reducing Accubrake. The Range XP 2.0 features a durable Cerakote finish, while the stock wears a hand-done sponge paint finish.
