Wilson Combat's 2015 Protector Family of 1911 Handguns

Wilson Combat has announced the release of the new 2015 Protector model, a next-gen carry 1911 pistol available in Full-Size, Professional and Compact variants.

According to the press release, the 2015 Protector — built on Wilson Combat’s steel or lightweight aluminum light-rail frames — is designed for every possible fighting scenario and delivers the reliability, accuracy and detailing synonymous with the Arkansas-based gun maker. The end user can tailor the specifications and caliber of their chosen 2015 Protector to the task at hand. Whether carrying concealed or for duty use, the 2015 Protector will get the job done.

The 2015 Protector features a fluted tactical cone barrel, round butt, one-piece bulletproof magwell and a unique side profile that wears both of Wilson Combat’s signature carry cuts and abbreviated front cocking serrations-which is unique to this model.
