Wilson Combat Adds Glock 45 Vickers Elite Package to Catalog

For a while now Wilson Combat has been offering an upgraded version of certain Glock pistols. The company did this by partnering with Special Operations veteran Larry Vickers, who believes the Gen 5 is the finest polymer-framed handgun. However, he also feels these guns benefit from some subtle and practical customizations. So, Wilson Combat has now added the Glock 45 Vickers Elite to its offerings. In fact, Wilson Combat followed his specific orders to build Vicker’s ideal tactical and concealed carry Glocks, all from the Gen 5 concept.

To start, company gunsmiths improved the grip with Vickers Elite laser stippling pattern. Then, they performed a duty action tune and added an TangoDown/Vickers Tactical flat-faced trigger pad and ambidextrous slide stop. Finding a good Glock trigger isn’t hard, but this one is top notch. The trigger allows for dynamic and precision shooting in all situations, while the slide stop provides for more positive reloads under stress. Other TangoDown/Vickers Tactical accessories include the grip plug, magazine release and magazine basepads. The company even thought of the little things by adding stippled thumb and finger rests. In fact, the location for the trigger finger features a Vickers logo.

This pistol also comes with a black Armor-Tuff slide, green fiber-optic front sight and increased serrations. In fact, this 9mm comes with both top and front serrations, along with the standard serrations. Additionally, the company offers a few different sight and finish options. These additions, however, do cost extra.

Now the Wilson Combat Vickers Elite package is available for Glock 17, 19 and 45 pistols, all three of which come in 9mm.
