Wilson Combat recently introduced a new shotgun developed by retired LEO and famed trainer Rob Haught, called, appropriately, the Rob Haught Special.

Looking to create his ideal defensive 870 pump scattergun, Haught included enhancements like a u-notch adjustable Wilson Combat Trak-Lok rear sight with a fiber-optic front; Magpul SGA Stock & MOE M-LOK forend; and a Mesa Tactical Aluminum shell carrier along the side of this model. Rounding out the custom touches is a Vickers-designed sling from Blue Force Gear.
In terms of the basic specs, the Rob Haught Special is available in 12-gauge with a 18.4-inch cylinder bore barrel; 3-inch Magnum chamber; extended magazine tube; 5+1 capacity; high-visibility, non-binding follower; heavy-duty stainless magazine tube spring; and a dome head safety. Overall length on this model is 36 inches. The weight isn’t listed.
Designed for home, vehicle or ranch defense, this shotgun is available in black; flat dark earth/black; burnt bronze; and silver/black. MSRP on the black and burnt bronze is $1,275. The fde/black and silver/black are priced at $1,425.
