Wilson Combat has teamed up with Larry Vickers for its Vickers Elite Commander 1911.

As the name would suggest, the Vickers Elite Commander is a smaller, carry-sized version of the full-size Vickers Elite 1911. The gun features a 4.25-inch stainless steel bushing barrel; Wilson’s hand-fitted, forged slide and frame combination; Vickers Tactical logo on the G10 grips and rear right side of the slide; Vickers Elite engraved on the right side of the slide; Wilson Combat logo on the rear left side of the slide; and Wilson’s one-piece Bullet Proof magwell for easy reloading under stress.

Available in .45 ACP and 9mm, this gun also features a 30 LPI high cut checkered frontstrap; Battlesight rear and gold bead front sight; 30 LPI serrations on the top of the slide; 40 LPI serrations on the rear of the slide; wide rear cocking serrations; fluted chamber; bobbed beavertail grip safety; and ball endmill cuts.

The Vickers Elite Commander measures 7.85 inches in OAL. It weighs 39.6 ounces empty and 45.2 ounces loaded. The magazine capacity is eight rounds. In addition, Wilson is guaranteeing 1.5-inch accuracy at 25 yards on this pistol.
