Windham Weaponry has announced the release of two new rifles for 2014: the TimberTec Camo chambered in .308, and the VEX Wood Stock Series chambered in .223 Rem. Take a look at a video showcasing these new rifles.

The TimberTec Camo has a 16.5″ medium profile chrome lined barrel with a 1:10 twist. The barrel is made from tough 4150M Chrome Moly Vanadium 1159E Steel. In addition, this semi-auto rifle boasts a 20-round magazine capacity, a flat top upper receiver made from forged 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum, a Stark pistol grip, a 6 position buttstock. The TimberTec Camo .308 is a great new addition to the sporting market.

The VEX Wood Stocked Series chambered in .223 Rem. has a 20” fluted barrel with a 1:8 twist. It is made from Precision 416R stainless steel. This rifle series features a Laminated Nutmeg stock and forend. In addition, the receiver has a Hardcoat Coyote Anodize finish and a Hogue OverMolded Rubber Pistol Grip.

As Jon Clark from Windham Weaponry explains, “We think there’s an interesting bridge between standard black rifles and the new wood stock models … the camo models obviously add a new flavor to standard black guns.”
