The recoil springs, designed for use in a full size S&W M&P 45 with a 4.5 inch barrel, are available with load-rated specifications to tailor the recoil function to individual needs. Each load-rated recoil spring includes a factory strength striker spring. These recoil springs must be used with Wolff recoil guide below, taken from the official product listing on Wolff Gunsprings’ website. The spring will not be captive.

* Extra Power: 17, 19, 20, 22 & 24 Lb.

Meanwhile, the guide rods for M&P .45 ACP series full size pistols are designed specifically for Wolff recoil springs above allowing adjustment of the recoil function. These guide rods are made of solid steel, hardened to a minimum of 55-RC and have a jet black finish that won’t wear off and provides corrosion protection. This product is available as guide rod alone, or your choice of recoil spring.

Also available for the the M&P series pistols in .45 caliber are the magazine springs manufactured by Wolff Gunsprings. These springs help improve feeding by providing extra power. Springs for the 8 round compact and 10 round full size magazines are +10% extra power. Springs for the 14 round full size magazines are +5% extra power.
