If a soldier or outdoorsman becomes separated from his equipment, on occasion, his knife would be gone also. With the Battle Blades system, as long as he has his primary weapon, he will also have a knife to help with the variety of situations that may arise.

After showing the Prototype at the 2012 Shot Show, the reception for the Battle Blades System was enthusiastic from both the military and outdoorsmen alike. The first model, the MP4 Wolfhawk, is due to be released into the market soon.
