Women’s Self-Defense Classes in WA

A free women’s self-defense course will be hosted by the Snoqualmie Police Department. The course RAD or Rape Aggression Defense will be offered in April in Snoqualmie, and a May class is planned in North Bend.

The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD), will be taught in four three-hour, women-only sessions, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, on April 15, 17, 22 and 24, at the Snoqualmie Police Department. The participants must be Snoqualmie residents, at least 18, and must attend all four sessions. Reserve your spot, or ask to be added to the wait list, by sending an e-mail to Officer Nigel Draveling at ndraveling@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us.

The program is dedicated to teaching defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, with easy, effective and proven self defense tactics, nationally recognized. This course is taught by certified instructors in the area of women’s self defense. Participants should dress in athletic attire, including shoes that provide lateral support.
