After years of design tinkering, XTech Tactical announces its standard and extended capacity of Glock-compatible magazines. The magazines continue the company’s MAG series of steel-reinforced polymer magazines. These are not just your cheap Glock clone mags. In fact, they are designed to perform and be durable. They are designed to surpass the magazines you receive stock with your gun.
Superior Springs
They feature stainless steel Plus Power springs. This is a significant improvement over the commonly used OE music wire. It gives us more reliable feeding and spring life. Next, they use a proprietary Delrin blend “No-Stick” follower. Like the wire, this gives us a smoother and reliable feed. It also helps to reduce follower tilt, which can be problematic. We have all experienced it in cheap mags. You load it to capacity and hear a loose round in the mag. In these cases, the follower has tilted, and a round is out of line.
The new XTech Tactical upgraded Glock magazines have an enhanced baseplate with side scallops. This assists in rapidly extracting a mag if it doesn’t fall immediately free from the gun. The mags are all steel reinforced to give them a strong core. This helps eliminate mag twists and makes them bomb-proof should they end up falling to the ground. Lastly, they fit everything their official manufacturer designed the originals for. This includes pistols, PCCs, mag wells, and pouches.
