Yankee Hill Machine’s (YHM) Billet Model 57 Carbine in black has been growing in popularity since it was released earlier in 2014.
That popularity has pushed YHM to release the same firearm in an all new burnt bronze color option.
Both the Specter Billet Carbine and the Specter XL Billet Carbine are available in burnt bronze.
Chambered in either 5.56mm, 6.8 SPC or .300 BLK, the Billet Model 57 Carbine comes standard with YHM’s high end accessories, as well as a drop in upgraded two-stage trigger (5-pound pull).
The Billet Model 57 Carbine incorporates a Specter SLR-SLant hand guard that bridges the gap between the upper receiver and hand guard for a seamless look.
The billet upper, billet lower and hand guard are all cerakoted in the industry standard burnt bronze color. The pattern cut in the hand guard reduces weight and blends nicely with the entire Model 57 package.
The rifle is shipped in a hard plastic case and comes with two Magpul Gen. 2 Magazines, a front sight adjustment tool, a user manual and a cable lock. The 6.8 SPC models come with standard 25-round metal magazine as opposed to the Magpul magazines.
The Specter Billet Carbine starts at $2,295, while the Specter XL Billet Carbine starts at $2,395.
YHM has not announced whether the new color scheme will be a permanent addition to its lineup or a limited time offer.
