Blaser has come out with a new line designed specifically for the female shooter: the Blaser Intuition Series, which includes the F16 shotgun and the R8 bolt-action rifle.
The crux of the Blaser Intuition series is this: the company has taken into account the different anatomy of women — which sometimes requires females to adjust their shooting position to the rifle or shotgun — and developed a Monte Carlo stock, which lets the hunter mount their gun easily without giving it a second thought.

The lower position of the butt plate lets you mount your gun to your shoulder, giving you a firm grip on the gun and reducing felt recoil. Blaser addressed recoil management by making the F16 Microcell recoil pad even softer, which guarantees better absorption and steady placement in the shoulder, the press release says.
The F16 Intuition shotgun takes things a step further with the addition of a higher drop at the comb and additional cast. As a result, the shoulders and neck will be relaxed, allowing for better movement and swifter target acquisition.
Both Intuition stocks are shorter, the press release says, reducing the distance between the pistol grip and trigger, as well as the distance between the butt plate and trigger. Additionally, the pistol grip now has finer features to accommodate smaller hands, reducing the possibility of flinching.

The F16 Intuition comes in two variants: the F16 Intuition Game and F16 Intuition Sporting. Both are available in 12-Gauge. The F16 Game Intuition comes in 28 or 30-inch barrels, while the F16 Intuition Sporting has 30 and 32-inch barrels. The Sporting also has an adjustable trigger. MSRP starts at $4,195.
The R8 Intuition, which is only available in models featuring a wood stock, has a starting MSRP of $4,385.
