Galco Switchback Carries Several Semi-Automatic Pistol Platforms

As gun ownership soars, so too does the number of gun owners choosing to carry. As such, concealed carriers needs options carrying the most ubiquitous of platforms. To meet that demand, Galco released the Switchback holster recently.

Galco Switchback Holster

The Galco Switchback belt holster accommodates 4-4.5-inch semiautomatic pistols. It works with several styles, including guns similar to Glock 17, SIG Sauer P320 Compact and S&W M&P. It also works with pistols equipped with most red dot sights.

A general purpose hybrid design combines the best elements of leather and synthetic, according to Galco. It comes fully ambidextrous, and it carries both strongside and crossdraw. The main body of the holster features layered synthetics. It includes an outer layer of durable black ballistic nylon. Beneath, closed cell foam imparts structure to the holster body. Finally, a layer of 420 denier gunmetal-colored packcloth lines the holster.

An ambidextrous “exoskeleton” of top grain steerhide allows the belt to thread through either side of the holster. It works for both right- and left-handed shooters. The retention strap also reverses for ambidextrous use.

The Switchback offers a versatile system for most full-size semi-automatic pistols. It retails for $49. For even more information, visit galcoholsters.com.
